Mustique

A name of superlatives, of style, royalty and pop; the owners names read as from a ‘Who’s Who’. The villas themselves, many designed by the late Oliver Messel, are as individual as their owners, each taking advantage of every asset of their position to offer unrivalled views.

The owners of the properties, have all left their individual marks; furnishing from effective simplicity to total luxury with priceless antiques to the absolute in modern design and comfort. Each villa is fully staffed with at least a cook, maid and gardener, and includes a Land Rover or similar vehicle for your personla use to travel the island.

Mustique is located in the nothern part of the Grenadines chain and offers views over neighbouring islands with exotic names, reflecting the historical Carib influence of the area: Canouan, Bequia, Battowia. Surrounded by no less than nine pearl-white beaches, the island has an ambience unique to itself.

Tranquility, relaxation and privacy are all-important watchwords, but that is not to suggest isolation as the focal point, Basil’s Beach Bar, will testify to many an impromptu ‘jump up’.

The day is spent in total informality with beach wear the norm whilst sitting and relaxing around your own private pool, or enjoying a picnic, which the cook has prepared, on one of the beaches. In the evening ladies may well don their long dresses, men, their open-neck shirts, as who knows what might be in store. Perhaps a dinner party at your villa, or dining at the Cottom House Hotel; maybe you will visit new friends you have made, but be prepared to let the magic of the island take its course.
