Airline Information
In December ’06 a chapter in the history of the Caribbean aviation closed when BWIA ceased trading and another chapter opened as it transformed into Caribbean Airlines.
Caribbean Airlines intends to build on the successful history of BWIA’s 66 years in the sky. Just as dependable, it will deliver the inimitable experiences of the regions, offering a friendly and professional service and conveying the genuine warmth of the islands in true Caribbean style.
Daily flights operate from Heathrow to Barbados, Antigua or St Lucia, connecting onwards to Trinidad and Tobago using the Airbus A340-300 aircraft with a two-class service. These aircraft have the quietest cabins in the sky and offer more headroom than other aircraft of a similar size.
Step onboard a Caribbean Airlines flight and you’ll feel like you are in the Caribbean. Traditional West Indian food and drink will be served during the flight to your chosen destination. All that is left for you to do is sit back and enjoy the experience.
The transatlantic economy class service offers one of the biggest seat pitch in economy to the Caribbean - ranging from 31” up to an amazing 38”*, in a comfortable 2-4-2 configuration, meaning you are never more than one seat away from the aisle.
